I am pleased to present to all members and site visitors, the new website for the American Psychotherapy Association. It was a lengthy process and I hope you will all find it a great improvement over the old website in terms of flexibility, professionalism, and user friendliness.
Please read the following carefully to help ensure you have the best experience with this site.
Be sure you are using the latest version available for your web browser. This includes Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, Netscape 7, Opera 8, and Mozilla Firefox 1.5. Other browser technologies may be supported as well.
The Members Area has been completely redesigned and is now much more robust than the previous version. Members can now track their total CEs and track the total CEs earned from the Annals of the American Psychotherapy Association publication. Also, a necessary change in design now requires all members to login to the Members Area before taking any online quizzes.
Members and visitors now have much easier access to Legislative Issues, Practice Management Articles, and information on APA's certification programs.
Contact information has been provided at the bottom of every page to assist visitors in contacting APA if necessary.
The National Locator Service has been renamed to Find a Therapist Service. Members now have the ability to make changes to their profile within the Members Area. The Find a Therapist Service has been rebuilt to accommodate additional information provided by Members who are enrolled.
The Forums will be undergoing a temporary maintenance period so it will be completed as soon as possible.
Non-members now have the ability to purchase a subscription to Annals® via online.
Thank you for taking the time to read this welcome message, if you have any questions you may contact APA at (800) 205-9165.
