Annals of American Psychotherapy
All American Psychotherapy Association members receive the Annals publication as part of their membership. Non-members can subscribe to the Annals for a yearly fee.
The Annals is a monthly online publication of the American Psychotherapy Association, with a readership of approximately 6,000 psychiatrists, marriage and family therapists, psychologists, social workers, psychotherapists, and others in mental health fields.
The journal publishes articles and columns on treatment modalities, trends, research, and cutting-edge techniques as well as practice management tips, legal issues, book reviews, and more.
The Annals is peer-reviewed and is indexed and abstracted with PsycINFO (American Psychotherapy Association), Cambridge Scientific Abstracts, Galenet, InfoTrac, and Primary Source Microfilm.
The Annals has exciting opportunities for you to earn continuing education credits by simply reading specific manuscripts published in the journal or here on the website.
The Annals is looking for quality manuscripts on a variety of subjects. You can submit an article for peer review; write a case study about your most challenging or fascinating case, be a guest columnist on a new or current topic, explain a new therapeutic or intervention technique you are using or have developed, or compose a letter to the editor to respond to something you have read in Annals. You not only benefit by reading the journal, you benefit by contributing to it as well.
